Effect Domain Age to SEO, SERP, and Website RankingAs we know our page rank is influenced by important factors that are Domain Age and Backlink -> SEO -> SERP. I have more opinions about that, maybe you can disagree or have other opinion about it. I say the more backlinks or links from other sites to your site will influence the better for your site. But keep in mind the quality of those backlinks.

Always to remember the rules of quantity over quality. This means better you have 1 quality backlink than 10 backlinks is not qualified. Quality backlinks is determined by many factors such as domain quality, pagerank domain, same niche with your site and the domain age.

In this case there is mention of patent site ranking based on the maturity of a domain name or website. This means that older age of your domain the more quality backlinks you provided to other sites.

Maturity of a domain name, search engine will determine to trust of your website with reasons as follows:

  1. Domain, including low price, allowing many to purchase a domain for the link to each domain name owned. Especially at this time many free domain and or domain trial.
  2. Spammers can use number 1 to sell backlink or often we called as link farm.
  3. There is standard of domain age which more long exists in the internet, domain name likely will have a lot of interesting content and backlinks to that domain. In this case the link from the new domain does not provide a significant effect on your domain.

To check of your domain age, you can use this online tool. I would like use checkpagerank.net because show Popularity Link and detect of Pagerank originality.

Although the domain age is not the only factor of your success in the SERP (search results page), but considering matters that affect the success factors that will help your efforts to achieve success in search engines.

i love you for this blogpost! I remember when I used a free domain! it was so awfull but because i had no paypal I could not buy my own webhosting So I found a site were I could get one for free.
