Posted by admin in : Mobile Phone , trackbackYou Have a Mobile Phone or Gadget, and there is a problem when logged into the Chat Application Mig33? Below I give a solution for Mobile Phone Motorola, Sony Ericsson, Blackberry, Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC, etc…
Please check to see that your username and password combination is correct. If you forgot your Log in details, you can select Forgot Details (at the Log in screen) and we’ll send your username and password in two separate SMS messages to the mobile phone number associated with your mig33 account.
If you’re still having Log in difficulties, your mobile phone likely needs a second setting (i.e., a different Access Point Name). You can either set this up manually, or contact your mobile operator to have them send this setting to your mobile phone. (This setting is usually referred to as the ‘Internet GPRS’ setting by your mobile operator.)
Motorola

- If you cannot connect to mig33 server on your Motorola after downloading mig33, please follow these instructions to configure your mobile phone correctly.
If you cannot connect via TCP and HTTP, your Telco might be blocking the port that mig33 server access. You can change the port manually by selecting ‘Manual’ when doing the connectivity test. Enter either port 25 or port 9119.
Sony Ericsson T610
If you cannot connect to mig33 server on your Sony Ericsson T610 after downloading mig33, please follow these instructions to configure your mobile phone correctly
- You need an Access Point Name (APN) that allows your mobile to connect to the mobile internet. Get this APN by calling your Telco and ask them to send the APN settings to your mobile phone via SMS. When you receive the SMS, ‘install’ the settings.
- Configure your mobile phone to access the right APN when connecting to the mobile internet. Under ‘Connectivity’ in your ‘WAP profiles’, make sure that the right APN is set to default.
- Sony Ericsson T610 will only connect to mig33 server via HTTP. Make sure you select HTTP when selecting connection type.
Note: mig33 will run on Sony Ericsson T610. However, we do not recommend this phone for using mig33 because the application is too big for the phone to handle, and this may cause long download time and slow response from your phone.
