Secret Hidden File, Folder and Make Image Disk with Virtual Drive 8.0 February 13, 2010
Posted by admin in : Computer Tips , trackbackYou are already familiar with image disk files such as *.ISO, *.nrg, *.vcd, etc. that can be opened use nero image drive (ISO, nrg) and Daemon tools (any type)? I have a secret or technique to your folder or file can make in image disk file, the goal is up to you whether to make the unity of various files/folders into a single file form the CD / Image disk? Or do you want to hide important files such as documents, videos that do not want to know other people, etc.? Specifically for the purpose of the second point I refer to as “incognito behind file extension“. Okay.. then how? It’s easy once, I’ll try sharing to you.
#Step 1
- First step you must have Virtual Drive 8.0 software
- Install this software to your computer
- When finished, you just prepare a file or folder you want to create the image disk.
- Right click on file/folder then select build VCD File
- Done. To open it just use Daemon Tools software
#Step 2
Especially for point “incognito behind file extension“, you just do it #Step 1 then go to Windows Explorer -> Tools -> Folder Options -> you use the Show hidden files and folders -> you set the show extensions for known files types.
After that, rename your image disk file to be an extension, it’s up to you…! eg a *.doc, *.dll, *.sys, or basically anything to conceal it from another user and only you which know that the file can be opened with Unmount disk from Daemon Tools.

Please read instruction carefully. After rename the extension, mount the file using Daemon Tools. In many place this tips 100% works.
