E220 Firmware and Dashboard Upgrade For Windows Vista
Step 1: Firmware Update
Why is the upgrade needed?
The first shipments of E220 modems where available before Vista was launched in SA and Vista is unable to read the file system on these modems. This firmware upgrade will make the file system on the E220 modem visible to Vista and as such, the upgrade must be performed on an XP machine
Please ensure that the E220 software is loaded onto the Microsoft XP PC before you do the update.
Once you’ve ensured that the UI and drivers have been installed onto the XP machine, open file below:
E220Update_11.110.05.00.67.exe
The screen below will appear – accept and click next
