In an interview with UK magazine Autocar, CEO of Ferrari, Amedeo Felisa suggested Ferrari Enzo generation in future will come with engnine V8 twin turbo direct injection. Ferrari’s current flagship model using a 6.0-liter V12 engine.
Current perception, the number of engine cylinders to determine the ability of the car. That’s why the Ferrari to develop hybrid technology that can be applied to V8 and V10 engines of their cars, as said Felisa to Autocar.
This Ferrari boss also said that Ferrari will not expand the use of carbon fiber in the series of very young models as did rivals like McLaren, Mercedes-Benz and BMW, while lightweight materials will be used on Enzo which is planned to present in 2012.
