How create a password in file of Microsoft Word 2007?
- Open MS Word 2007 file that you wish to give passwords and encryption.
- Click on office orb symbol at the top left corner.
- Select Prepare >> Encrypt document
- A Encrypt Document dialog box appears, set your password.
- A confirm password dialog box will appear, please re-enter the password you set earlier.
- If your work has been done with MS Word, save your file.
- Dialog box will appear again with the message “This document is both encrypted and password protected. The Office Open XML Formats available in the 2007 release encryption.Do Provide Stronger You Want to Increase the security of this document by converting to an Office Open XML format? “
- If you want more strong security, click Yes, otherwise select No.
- Close your MS Word 2007 file.
